In order to strengthen alumina ceramics and improve its mechanical strength, a new strengthening technique has been developed abroad. The process is novel and simple. Through electron ray vacuum coating, sputtering vacuum coating or chemical vapor evaporation on the surface of alumina ceramic, and coating a thin layer of silicon compound film, heating at 1200℃~1580℃, alumina ceramics is strengthened.

Comparing with the original ones, mechanical strength of the strengthened alumina ceramics can be greatly increased. Alumina ceramics with super high strength can be achieved.
